Hollis Heat: Time Trials is a multi-duration timed event held at Hollis Hills Farm in Ellenboro, NC, organized by Hollis Hills Farms. The event offers several timed race options and takes place on a course that circles the farm.

The route is a 3 Mile loop around the farm with a scenic out-and-back fire road section. The course includes an elevation gain of about 200 feet on the pre-loop segment. An aid station is provided and stocked with basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon, plus hydration options including water, Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. First aid supplies will be available at the aid station.
Runners must wear bibs on the front of the shirt or shorts so they remain visible. Trekking poles are allowed. Weather at the site can vary and may include rain or fog. The event lists a cutoff of 10 Hours. Results will be posted on UltraSignup.
This is a private event; unregistered participants are not allowed. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on course unless a special exception is granted. Entry fees are non-refundable if the event is canceled, including in cases of inclement weather; deferrals require contact with the race director. Medals are handmade pottery by BlueGill Pottery and are unique to each finisher. Registration proceeds go to farm development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
