Hollis Hills Farm Revival
Hollis Hills Farm Revival is held in Ellenboro, NC and features multiple lap distances around a farm course. The route is organized into loops around the property with the short loop running to a hunter's cabin and a nearby out and back fire road section.
- 50K: 6 loops
- 25K: 3 loops
- 5 Miler: 1 loop
The short loop includes an elevation gain of about 400 feet before completing the loop. Aid stations are stocked with basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon, and provide water, Tailwind, a variety of sodas, and basic first aid supplies. Medals are handmade pottery pieces from BlueGill Pottery; each medal is unique.
Registration is treated as a donation and 100% of the money goes to farm development. Entry fees are nonrefundable and registrations do not include refunds in the event of cancellation. At checkout participants may select camping for one or two nights or purchase a chicken for the farm. Packet pickup will not be available the day before the event so bibs must be collected at the event. Trekking poles are allowed. Weather can include rain and fog. Additional rules include no dogs or strollers on course unless an exception is granted, and the event is private so unregistered participants are not allowed. Results and photos are provided after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
