About the race
Hollis Heat: Time Trials is a timed running event at Hollis Hills Farm in Ellenboro, NC on June 5, 2027. The event offers multiple time-based race options held on a roughly 3-mile loop around the farm with an out-and-back fire road section. The pre-loop elevation gain is about 200 feet.

An on-course aid station will supply basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon, plus hydration including water, Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. Basic first aid supplies will be available at the aid station. Bibs must be worn on the front and remain visible for the entire race. Trekking poles are allowed. Weather conditions may include rain or fog.
A 10-hour cutoff is listed for the event. Medals are awarded on completion; the medals are handmade pottery by BlueGill Pottery and are unique. Registration closes on Sun, May 30 at 11:59 PM ET. Entry fees are non-refundable if the event is canceled, including for inclement weather; deferral requests should be directed to the race director. The event is private and unregistered participants are not allowed. Optional add-ons at checkout include camping and purchasing a chicken for the farm.
