Hollis Hills Farm Revival
Hollis Hills Farm Revival is a looped trail event held on private farmland near Ellenboro, NC. The course includes a 3 mile loop around the farm plus a scenic out and back fire road section. The route features an elevation gain of about 200 feet on the pre loop.
Distances offered:
- 5K: 1 loop
- 25K: 5 loops
- 50K: 10 loops
An on-course aid station is stocked with basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon. Hydration options include water, Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. First aid supplies are available at the aid station. Medals for finishers are handmade pottery pieces from BlueGill Pottery, each one unique.
Participants must wear bibs on the front of shirt or shorts so they remain visible. Trekking poles are permitted. Weather at the site can vary, with possible rain and fog. The event enforces a 10 hour cutoff. No dogs or strollers are allowed on the course unless a special exception is made. Runners and walkers may participate as long as they meet the time limit. Entry fees are non refundable in the event of cancellation. The event is private and unregistered participants are not allowed.
Camping options and farm donation items such as purchasing a chicken are available, and a bonfire and local merchants are planned for the Friday before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
