The 10k uses the 5k route twice. For the two-person relay, handoff occurs at the start/finish area and each team member completes one 5k loop. The course is on paved areas of McAllister Park and is described as flat. Packet pickup is available at the race on race day. Virtual entries may run on their own schedule; U.S. shipping for virtual packets is free, international rates apply.
Awards are given by age group (multiple categories from youth through 90+), with 1st through 4th in age groups and overall female and masters winners recognized. Age-group awards are based on chip time; overall and masters winners are based on gun time. The event has a no-refund policy; transfers incur a fee and are restricted after race day.
