IHR Midnight Climb 6K - Louisville, KY
The IHR Midnight Climb is an overnight 6K running event held in Louisville, Kentucky on the night of July 24 into July 25, 2026. The event area is near the gate at Uppill Road and runs on Rundill Road and nearby park roads.
The course goes up the hill on Rundill Road, circles around Iroquois Park Road and Toppill Road, then returns down the hill. The organizer notes that each mile becomes easier as the route progresses.
Participants are asked to bring glow sticks and lights. A glow-in-the-dark arch will mark the start and finish area, and MoonPies will be available after crossing the finish line. Every participant will receive a glow-in-the-dark 2026 Midnight Hill Climb pin, which continues the Summer Series collector pin set.
Registration opens January 28, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026. The registration fee is $5.00. There is no in-person race day registration; online registration from a phone while at the venue or approaching check-in is permitted. For safety, every runner is required to carry a headlamp or a flashlight. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
