IHR Ice Cream Run
The IHR Ice Cream Run takes place on July 14, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky at the area near the Iroquois Park Amphitheater. The event is organized by Iroquois Hill Runners and includes a community 5 km race and a 1 mile fun run.

The course rides the rolling hills around the base of Iroquois Park, beginning near the amphitheater and finishing next to the amphitheater parking lot. The route is away from heavy traffic and follows the park perimeter.
Packet pick-up will be handled on-site prior to the race start, with organizers set up to check in participants and assist with race day registrations. The event page recommends arriving early to allow time for parking and check-in.
Iroquois Park provides ample parking at the amphitheater and playground; participants are asked not to park on the grass. Iroquois Hill Runners will provide ice cream to participants after the race. Bottled water will be available at the finish line and the organizers note that summer weather can be warm, so participants are advised to hydrate before, during and after the event.
