Heatwave event at Beckley Creek Park
The event takes place on July 17, 2027 at Beckley Creek Park in Louisville, KY. Multiple in-person races are scheduled on the same day and a virtual option is available for remote participants.

Standard registration items for in-person races include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is available for timed races such as the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Free photos are provided and there is free ice cream at the finish.
Youth-based pricing applies for 5K and 10K: ages 12 and under are priced at $17. The Kids Dash includes a youth-sized shirt and a specially crafted medal; children may run the Kids Dash without receiving swag and may participate free on race day. The virtual entry includes a digital bib, event shirt, medal, and mailed packet; packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos starting the day of the event.
To guarantee a shirt, register by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day. Volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
