Mesa Turkey Trot 5K - 10K, Red Mountain Park, Mesa, AZ : November 26, 2026
The Mesa Turkey Trot is a community running event held at Red Mountain Park in Mesa, Arizona. The event includes chip-timed road races around the park and a family fun run. Race proceeds benefit the Mesa Sertoma Club, and the event is managed by StartLine Racing.
Distances offered:
- 10K - chip timed; male and female age group awards
- 5K - chip timed; male and female age group awards
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - untimed family distance
- Virtual Run - US addresses only; items shipped after the event
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom tech T-shirt (option to decline the shirt for a small discount). Top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 10K and 5K receive awards; age groups span youth through 80 and over. Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided, and real-time results and race photos are available via the timing service and mobile app.
Logistics note: packet pick-up is available the day before as a drive-thru and on race day at the venue; teams and large families are required to pick up packets prior to race day. The course follows paved roads around Red Mountain Park and finishes in the park parking lot. The event is stroller and wheelchair friendly; bicycles, wagons, and scooters are not permitted.
