Sunland Beautification Fun Run/Walk
The event is the second annual Sunland Beautification Fun Run/Walk held at the clubhouse at 725 S Rochester, Mesa, AZ 85206. Registration is online only; there will be no onsite registration. Multiple participation options are offered and a registration fee applies.
The 5K course is run as three laps and each lap is chip timed. Walkers must remain walking for the walk-only entry; participants who finish the walk course in under 45:00 minutes will be moved to the run category. Bibs with a timing tag are issued at check-in and should be pinned on the front at waist level; the timing tag records times as runners and walkers pass under the blue arch.
Onsite procedures include sponsor recognition, course instructions, and placement of runners toward the front and walkers toward the back. Participants may stop at any time but should move to the left to leave the course. Results and awards are available onsite after the event.
All finishers receive a finisher token and may pick up a beer, a glass of wine, or water at the clubhouse finish area. Water is available before, during, and after the event from a large white cooler outside the clubhouse. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
