About the race
The Sunland Beautification Fun Run/Walk is an event held at the clubhouse at 725 S Rochester, Mesa, AZ 85206. The 5K course consists of three laps and lap times are recorded with chip timing for each lap. All participants receive a finisher token and may pick up a beer, a glass of wine, or water at the clubhouse when finished.
Chips are also available at the finish area. Registration is online only with a registration fee of $30. Registration opens 2026-09-21 and closes 2026-11-15. There is no onsite registration. Race procedures are specified for bibs and timing.
Participants receive a bib that must be pinned on the front at waist level using safety pins; the bib includes a timing tag that records crossings on mats beneath a blue arch at the start and after each lap. Runners should position near the front and walkers toward the back. Walkers are required to walk; walkers who complete the course in under 45:00 may be moved to the run category.
Course exit requires moving to the left side to leave the course. Water is available before, during, and after the event from a large white cooler outside the clubhouse. Results and awards are available onsite. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
