The Kemp Mill C(hills) 5K/10K is an MCRRC low-key race held on February 8, 2026, in Silver Spring, MD. Both distances start and finish at Kemp Mill Elementary School (411 Sisson St) and run on open neighborhood roads. The route travels through the rolling hills of Kemp Mill. Pre- and post-race activities are hosted inside the school. The event is staffed by volunteers and includes volunteer opportunities.

Runners may choose to turn around early to complete the 5K or continue for the 10K. Course maps are provided for each distance. Bib and chip pickup occurs on race morning near the start area. Online registration remains open through race day for non-members. Non-MCRRC registration fees listed for this event are $22 for participants 18 and over and $11.60 for participants under 18; processing fees are included in those prices. This race is free for MCRRC members as part of the club’s low-key series, but members must sign up for a 2026 bib and chip to participate.
