Mayor Ted Green's Opioid Awareness 5k Run takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in East Orange, New Jersey. The event aims to raise awareness about opioid misuse. It is held in partnership with Omega Psi Phi - Eta Pi Chapter.

Additional Information
Cash prizes are available for the 5K run, awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The prizes are $250 for first place, $150 for second place, and $75 for third place.
For participants arriving by car, parking is available in a lot at 95 Evergreen Place behind the main building. If the lot is full, there is also street parking available on Evergreen Place.
