Event overview
The Crossroads Half Marathon takes place in Metuchen, NJ on Sunday, April 12, 2026. The race is the 7th annual edition and is hosted by the Crossroads Running Club. The event distance is 13.1 miles. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry fees vary by date: a New Year’s 1-day special at $9.99, an early bird period at $14.99 (January 2 – February 14), and a later price of $20.26 (February 15 – April 1) or until capacity is reached. There is no race day registration.
Course and race details
The course runs on the Middlesex Greenway, a paved asphalt, tree-lined trail that is 3.6 miles long and 10 feet wide. The trail passes through Metuchen, Edison, and Woodbridge on a historic portion of the Lehigh Valley rail corridor. The course will be marked and a course map will be posted in the start area.
Timing is provided by Compuscore. The race cutoff is 3 hours for the 13.1 miles, which is approximately 13:40 minutes per mile. Water is available at the start/finish area and near miles 2.9 and 4.3; additional refreshments are provided at the start/finish. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and all finishers receive a medal. Free parking and portable toilets are available on site. The Middlesex Greenway is free of vehicular traffic, but some crossings meet vehicular roads; the use of headphones is permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
