Event Details

The Essex County Cherry Blossom 10K Run is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026. It is the 50th annual edition of this event. The race takes place in Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey.

Registration and Fees

Registration fees are as follows:

$45 for pre-registrants
$40 for USATF-NJ member pre-registrants
$50 for race day registration

All sales are final with no refunds.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup occurs on race day, April 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. It is located at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center parking lot under a large tent.

Awards and Participant Items

All participants receive a finisher medal. A race shirt is included but is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis; shirt size is not guaranteed. Awards, including gift certificates and hoodies, are given to the top three overall finishers (male and female), top three overall USATF finishers (male and female), top three in each age category, and top three overall disabled run finishers.

Additional Information

A portion of each race entry ($3) is donated to Special Olympics New Jersey. Parking is available across from the park at 5 Franklin Avenue, Belleville, NJ, but fills quickly.
