Course, logistics and amenities

The course is just under one full loop of Prospect Park with a final sprint up Center Drive. All NYCRUNS courses are USATF-certified. The Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and is accessible via Center Drive or the walking paths off Well House Drive. Bib and shirt pickup take place in the Festival Area on race morning; mailed bibs are available for members or for an added fee if registration meets the mailing deadline and delivery is within the U.S.

On-course and event amenities include bag check with clear-bag rules, portable bathrooms, water and electrolyte fluids on course, cans of smartwater at the finish, post-race refreshments (hydration, bagels and fruit), a tech shirt, and a finisher medal. Race photos will be available by email after the event. Results will be emailed and posted online after the race. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall by gun time, and to the top three in each listed age group by net time.

Access, divisions and policies

Mass transit is the recommended access option; the closest subway stops are Prospect Park (S and Q) and 15th St-Prospect Park (F and G). Bus service includes the B68 and B16. Handcycle and Wheelchair divisions are offered.
