About the race
NYCRUNS Prospect Park 5K Benefiting CAMBA takes place in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. The race covers a 5K distance, built on a course described as just under one full loop around the park with a final sprint up Center Drive, and all NYCRUNS courses are USATF-certified. The event features a Nethermead Festival Area for bib pickup, gear check, bathrooms, and post-race refreshments, plus a tech shirt, race photos, and a pace-based corral system to keep runners grouped by pace.
Proceeds support CAMBA, a city-based nonprofit helping tens of thousands through housing, food security, adult literacy, and workforce programs. Amenities: hydration, bag check, and souvenir shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
