About the race
The Martinsburg Sprint & Super Sprint events take place at War Memorial Park, 500 N. Tennessee Avenue, Martinsburg, WV, on August 29, 2026. The race date was rescheduled to August 29 due to dangerous Air Quality Index conditions. The event series is presented by Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation and includes multiple individual and team race options.

- Sprint Triathlon: swim 300 yds, bike 12 miles, run 5K
- Duathlon (Sprint Distance): run 2.5K, bike 12 miles, run 5K
- Aquabike (Sprint Distance): swim 300 yds, bike 12 miles
- Relay Sprint Triathlon (create team): relay legs match the Sprint distances
- Relay Sprint Triathlon (join team): join an existing relay team for Sprint distances
Registration details vary by event. Registration opened as early as December 10, 2025, and for some events on July 22, 2026; registration closes on August 29, 2026. Published registration fees include amounts such as $65, $95, and $135 depending on event or relay role. The 2026 edition notes a new course layout and updated bike distances, plus the addition of a sprint duathlon and a sprint relay option.
