The Final Countdown Tribute - Martinsburg, WV

The Final Countdown Tribute is the inaugural running held at Amani Brewing in Martinsburg, West Virginia on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The event uses a 1.33 mile loop on the brewery property. The loop follows a maintained grass path with a smooth surface and a small hill or two.

All runners start each lap together and must complete the loop within a set countdown. The first lap is set at 20 minutes, and each successive lap shortens the allowed time by 20 seconds, requiring a progressively faster pace. If a runner does not return before the countdown reaches zero for that lap, that runner is removed from the race. The event continues until only one runner completes a lap before the countdown ends.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Amani Brewing and on the morning of the race. There is one aid station at the start/finish area; runners may set up a personal aid station of up to 10 by 10 feet near the start/finish. The brewery will provide beverage service on site and does not allow outside alcohol on the property.

Included with registration are a race t-shirt, custom bib, finisher awards, a podium award for the winner, a first complimentary beverage at the brewery, and post-race refreshments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
