The Final Countdown - Tribute
The Final Countdown - Tribute is a loop-based running event held on 09/19/2026 at Amani Brewing in Martinsburg, WV. The course is a 1.33 mile loop on the brewery property. The path is grass, maintained year-round, and described as smooth and fast with a small hill or two.
All runners start each lap together and must complete the loop within an allotted countdown. The first lap begins with a 20-minute countdown, and each successive lap reduces the allowed time by 20 seconds, requiring progressively faster laps. Runners who do not return before the countdown reaches zero are removed from the race, though they may remain to watch remaining competitors.
If a runner completes a lap before the countdown ends, they may stop and rest before the next lap begins. The event continues until only one runner returns before the completion of the countdown.
