Mansfield Uphill
Mansfield Nordic Pro Team hosts the Mansfield Uphill, a mountain run at Stowe Mountain Resort held on two dates in 2026: June 21 and October 18. This event is the second of two races organized by the team in that year.
The course runs from Midway Lodge to Cliff House and follows the Switchback and Perry Merrill trails. Participants may walk, hike, run, bound, run backwards, or crawl at their own pace; some may attempt to beat Pro Team athletes on the climb. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category at Midway Lodge following the race, and a meet and Q and A with the team takes place after awards.
Proceeds from the event go directly to supporting the Mansfield Nordic Pro Team and its programming. Funds are intended to help offset costs such as race travel, ski wax, test skis, warm-up clothing, and race suits for SuperTour and World Cup events. The gondola will be operating for those who prefer a scenic ride back down the mountain after racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
