Heady Trotter 4 Miler
The Heady Trotter is a four mile race through the rolling foothills of Stowe, Vermont. The course is chip timed and certified, with the start and finish located in front of The Alchemist Brewery at 100 Cottage Club Road, Stowe, VT 05672.
Event features include a music and beer festival, food trucks at the finish line, and a lawn game zone with Cornhole, giant Beer Pong, and Kan Jam. Race registration includes Heady Topper beer, custom swag and a koozie, and participants can purchase additional items at the brewery retail store.
Packet pickup is available at The Alchemist Brewery on the days before the race and there is morning bib pickup on race day. The brewery parking lot has about 100 spaces; overflow parking is provided at Stowe Medical Center and race day parking is located at Topnotch Lower Meadow Field at 3420 Mountain Road, with access via the Stowe Rec Trail. Shuttle buses run on race day before and after the event. Organizers request carpooling and staggered pickup by bib number to reduce congestion.
Teams of 10 or more receive unique Heady Trotter swag. Solo runners can earn team swag by donating to the beneficiary Green Mountain Adaptive Sports. Awards are given in five year age increments beginning with under ten through 80 plus, plus overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd for men and women.
