Vermont 10 Miler
The Vermont 10 Miler is a 10-mile road race in Stowe that follows a hilly tour of the town and surrounding countryside. The course starts and finishes at Mayo Farm Fields, with the first four miles steadily uphill and later descents that lead to a scenic river finish framed by Vermont fall foliage.
Packet pick-up is offered on Saturday, October 31 (12:00 PM to 3:00 PM) at Von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall, and on Sunday, November 1 (7:00 AM to 8:50 AM) at Mayo Farm Fields. Registered participants receive a race bib with timing chip and an athlete shirt; onsite registration is available on both days. All participants must show a photo ID at pick-up. Pickup for others is allowed with a copy or photo of the ID for verification.
Parking is available at the Mayo Farm/Stowe Event Fields, a short walk to the start and finish; the lot has a single entrance and exit, which can cause delays. There is no paid or unpaid gear storage at the start/finish, so participants typically leave gear in their vehicles.
A finisher’s medal is given to all participants. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers and to the top finisher in each age group, with age divisions in five-year increments from Under 19 up to 70+.
