Vermont 10 Miler
The Vermont 10 Miler is an annual, season-ending 10 mile running event in Stowe, Vermont. The course is hilly, with the first four miles steadily uphill, followed by descents and a riverside finish. The start and finish are at Mayo Farm Fields.
Packet pick-up and onsite registration are available the day before and the morning of the race. Registered participants receive a race bib with timing chip and an athlete shirt. All participants must show a photo ID at pick-up; someone may collect packets for others if they provide a copy or photo of that ID.
Parking is available at the Mayo Farm / Stowe Event Fields, though access is limited by a single entrance and exit and delays can occur. Event staff will assist with parking. Participants are encouraged to consider carpooling or using the Stowe Recreation Path to reach the start on foot or by bike. There is no paid or unpaid gear storage at the start or finish; runners are encouraged to return gear to their cars.
A portion of registration fees is donated to the Stowe Land Trust. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers and to the top athlete in each age group, with five year age increments and separate categories under 19 and 70 and older.
