Vermont 10 Miler
The Vermont 10 Miler is an annual ten mile road race held in Stowe, Vermont. The course starts and finishes at Mayo Farm Fields and is described as a season-ending event for the local running calendar.
The route is hilly. The first four miles climb steadily uphill, followed by downhill sections and a finish beside a river framed by fall foliage. A course map and past race results are provided for participants and spectators.
Organizers have presented the event as an eighth annual running in past notices. The race is also listed as a stop in the New England 10 Miler Series, which includes events in Portland, Maine and Newport, Rhode Island.
Runners and walkers of various paces take part each year. For some editions online registration closed in advance and onsite registration was made available at bib pick up on the day before the race and on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
