LPP Fall Classic 5 Mile
The event is a timed trail race of 5 miles held at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, Louisiana. The course runs through the park's rolling hills and includes part or all of the lake loop plus about four miles of trail. For participants familiar with the park, the trail portion corresponds to the last four miles of the park trail system, identified as miles 6 to 9.
The race is produced by Get On A Trail Shreveport LLC in conjunction with LPP. It takes place on the same day as a large park festival and the park will directly benefit from the event. The start and finish are located near the water by the concession pavilion.
Overall first place male and female finishers receive a special award. Refreshments provided after the race consist of chips and a cold drink. Race shirts are ordered prior to race day with an additional 20 percent provision over registration on the shirt cutoff day.
Registration opens July 15, 2026 and closes September 2, 2026 with a registration fee of $35.00. Packet pickup is available in the park on race morning from 7:00 to 7:45. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
