Breacher 5k
The Breacher 5k takes place in Ruston, Louisiana on September 19, 2026. The event includes a 5k and a Kids 1 mile fun run, plus a Sleep In Supporter entry option.
The course starts at the corner of South Monroe Street and West Georgia Avenue and follows an out and back route down South Monroe Street through the Greenway Trail before returning to the start area.

Registration details: registration opened April 17, 2026. Standard 5k registration is $30 through August 20 and includes a T-shirt. Late 5k registration is $35 from August 21 through race day and does not include a T-shirt. Sleep In Supporter entries are priced the same as 5k registration and do not include a T-shirt or medal. Kids fun run registration is $15 through race day; all participating children receive a medal but no T-shirt.
Packet pick-up is scheduled on the two days before the event at Ruston Police Department, 501 N Trenton Street. Race site location and general event address are 395 North Monroe Street, Ruston LA 71270.
Awards for the 5k include first overall male and female and the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Fun run participants receive a medal but do not qualify for age group awards. If a child will run the 5k, they must be entered in the 5k rather than the fun run.
