Love on the Run 5k and Sweetheart Mile
Sanctuary Vineyards presents the 9th annual Love on the Run event on February 13, 2027 at Sanctuary Vineyards, 7005 Caratoke Hwy, Jarvisburg, NC 27939. The event offers two distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
Early bird registration for adult entries on the 5k and 1 mile is available through October 1, 2026. Pricing details include an over-21 entry that includes two drink tickets, a souvenir glass, a winery gift choice of one bottle, and after party admission; an under-21 entry fee; and a 21-and-over spectator party ticket that includes a shirt, drink tickets, bottle choice, and after party admission. Race fees include event vineyard swag and a finisher gift.
The course is a scenic trail through the vineyard, under trees, and by the sound, returning to the winery for a post-race wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting party with Sanctuary souvenir items. Non-alcoholic beverage options are available. Race day packet pickup and late registration are available from 7:30 to 8:45 am at the Sanctuary Vineyard winery building. The start and finish are located at the winery; parking is limited at the start and additional marked lots are open about 500 yards north, with a working farm road providing access to the venue.
