Event Overview
The Long Grove Turkey Trot is a running event taking place on Thanksgiving Day in Long Grove, Illinois. The event starts and finishes at 308 Old Mchenry Rd. Participants can choose between different road race distances and formats held in person or virtually.
Distance Options

Participant Experience
The event includes specific features for different race categories. Children participating in the 100m dash receive a ribbon upon completing the distance. Those in the 5k Kid's Division receive an untimed bib and a donut at the finish line.
All participants in the in person races receive an apple cider donut at the finish line. For runners aged 21 and older, beer is also provided at the conclusion of the event.
