Lincolnwood Turkey Trot : November 22, 2026
The Lincolnwood Turkey Trot is a community running event held at Proesel Park in Lincolnwood, Illinois. The event features certified courses for both a 5 km and a 10 km distance with USATF certification numbers IL-23031-NM and IL-23032-NM. The courses are marked on the road and with signs. A course cut-off time of 10:20 am is in place.

Pre-registered runners and walkers receive a long-sleeve running shirt (adult shirts use men’s sizing). Lincolnwood Turkey Trot finisher medals are awarded to all registered participants who cross the finish line. Race medals are awarded for 1st through 3rd place in each distance, by age division, and by male and female categories. Overall winners are determined by gun time and age division winners by chip time. Additional awards recognize top male and female Lincolnwood resident finishers in each distance.
Participant guidelines note that bicycles, in-line skates, and other wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the course except wheelchairs and other accessibility devices. Strollers and baby joggers are allowed but must start at the back of the race corral. Animals are not permitted on the racecourse or in Proesel Park; service animals must be registered with the organizer at least one week before race day.
Packet pick-up takes place at the Lincolnwood Community Center with multiple days available the week of the event. Packets include a Turkey Trot long-sleeved shirt, race bib, and pins. Packet pickup for fellow runners is permitted and shirt exchanges may be handled after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
