Grayslake Central Turkey Trot
The GCHS Booster Club Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held at Grayslake Central High School, with the course beginning and ending on the school track. The event supports the high school athletic program through its proceeds and includes both runners and walkers who start together.
Registration is available between July 2, 2026 and November 13, 2026; the listed registration fee for the 5K is $45. Registrants receive a drawstring bag, and shirt sizes are allocated by registration date - preferred sizes are not guaranteed after October 17. Packet pickup takes place in the school Field House on the Saturday before the race and again on race day, where late registrations are also accepted.
Awards include trophies for the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and medals for first through third place within each age-group category.
