The Grayslake Central Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk on Sunday, November 15, 2026, in Grayslake, IL. The event takes place at Grayslake Central High School, with the course starting and ending on the school track. Registration opened July 2, 2026. The listed entry price is $45.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is offered the Saturday before the race from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the school Field House. A second packet pickup and race day registration are available Sunday starting at 7:30 a.m. Late registrations are available on both Saturday and Sunday. Registrants are to walk from the parking lot toward the field and track; the Field House doors are on the left in the glass foyer. The main parking lot is north of the school on Hillside Avenue; attendees are directed to turn west on Hillside Avenue and park in the northwest lot.
The top three overall male and female finishers will receive trophies. Medals will be awarded for first, second and third place in each age group. Each registrant receives a drawstring bag. Preferred shirt size is not guaranteed after October 17. Proceeds are designated to support the high school athletic program financial needs.
