Event Overview
The Grayslake Central Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk event held at Grayslake Central High School. The race starts and finishes on the school's track. All proceeds support the financial needs of the high school's athletic program.
Event Details
Participants can register for the 5K event. The race begins on the high school track. Parking is available in the Northwest lot, north of the school on Hillside Avenue.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals are awarded to the first, second, and third-place finishers in each age group category.
Registrants receive a drawstring bag. Early registration is recommended to secure a preferred shirt size, as sizes are not guaranteed after a specified date in October.
Packet pickup is available at two times: on the Saturday before the race from 4-6 p.m. in the school's Field House, and on race day starting at 7:30 a.m., also in the Field House.
