Lincoln-Way Half Marathon & 10K
The Lincoln-Way event at Breidert Green Park in Frankfort, IL takes place on May 2, 2026. It offers two race distances and a virtual participation option.
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K 10 kilometers
Registration fees listed include mandatory charges: the Half Marathon fee is $82.23 and the 10K fee is $60.83. A Virtual Runner option is available for $28.74. Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026; the packet pick up location is to be determined.
The event recommends participants be prepared to complete the half marathon within 3.5 hours. Jogging strollers in both races must start behind other participants. For safety, pets, bicycles and roller blades are prohibited on the course. Free parking is available at the parking lot on the east side of White Street at Elwood and at the lot on White Street and Kansas Street in downtown Frankfort.
Awards will be given to the top two overall male and female finishers. Age group placements will be recorded in five year bands but will not receive separate awards. Full results will be sent to finishers and are posted online. A USATF certified version of the half marathon course is available. Event sponsorship and vendor opportunities are listed by the organizer. The event will follow CDC guidelines and will convert entries to virtual participation if cancellation is required; refunds are not provided.
