Lighthouse 5k Series - Corolla, NC
The Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile Race Series holds its 16th annual running on September 2, 2026, at The Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina (1100 Club Road) within Historic Corolla Park.

All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion, and chip timing. Unique finisher medals and shirts are provided to participants.
Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup and check-in are available race morning at the race start line. There is parking on site and restrooms are available. The event is walker and stroller friendly; service dogs are allowed and other pets are not permitted.
The course runs through the Historic Village of Corolla Light and passes notable local sites including the Whalehead Club, Corolla Light resort, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The start and finish are located in front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club.
Awards are presented for the top three male and female overall finishers, first place masters male and female (over 40), and first place youth male and female (14 and under). The event is presented by Brindley Beach Vacations and supports local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
