Corolla Ten Miler & 5K
The Corolla Ten Miler & 5K is the inaugural running event held on September 20, 2026, at Historic Corolla Park in Corolla, North Carolina on the Outer Banks. The event offers two distances and follows roads and packed beach trails through coastal neighborhoods and past the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, including a stretch of beach where wild horses are known to roam.
Distances
- 10 miles : flat, fast course along roads and packed beach trails.
- 5K : shorter route using the same scenic roads and beach sections.
The event uses chip timing and provides water stations along the course. Post-race activities include music, food, and craft vendors, and participants receive race swag. The organizer notes community support at the course and a post-race gathering near the finish area.
