Event Overview
The Lighthouse 5k Series event includes a 5k and a 1 Mile race. The 16th annual running of this series takes place in Corolla, North Carolina, at Historic Corolla Park, starting in front of the Whalehead Club. The event is sponsored by Brindley Beach Vacations.
Race Details
The course passes by local historic attractions, including the WhaleHead Club, Corolla Light resort, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup are available on race morning from 6:50 AM to 7:50 AM at the race start line.
Parking is available onsite, as are restrooms. The event is described as walker and stroller friendly. Service dogs are allowed, but no other pets are permitted.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are $45 for adults and $40 for youth aged 17 and under. All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion, and chip timing. All major credit cards are accepted for payment.
Awards
Awards are given for the top three male and female overall finishers, the first place male and female Masters (over 40), and the first place male and female Youth (14 & under). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
