Event Overview
The Lighthouse 5k Series July 29, 2026, marks the 16th annual running of this race series in Corolla, North Carolina. This family-oriented event takes place at the Historic Corolla Park, with the start and finish lines situated in front of the historic mansion at The Whalehead Club. The course guides participants through the historic attractions of the Northern Outer Banks, including the Historic Village of Corolla Light and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

Participant Information
Registration includes an event t-shirt, a unique finisher medallion, and professional chip timing. The course is open to both walkers and those using strollers. For those arriving by car, there is parking available at the venue, and restrooms are located on-site. Service dogs are permitted at the event, but other pets are not allowed.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, recognition is given to the first-place male and female in the Masters category (ages 40 and over) and the first-place male and female in the Youth category (ages 14 and under).
