Lighthouse 5k Series
The Lighthouse 5k Series is a community road race held at The Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 1 Mile
All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion and chip timing. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, the first place Masters male and female (over 40) and the first place Youth male and female (14 and under).
Adult entry fee is $45. Youth entry fee for ages 17 and under is $40.
Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup are available on race morning at the race start line. There is parking available and restrooms located onsite. The course goes past local landmarks including The Whalehead Club, Corolla Light and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.
The event is walker and stroller friendly. Service dogs are allowed and other pets are not permitted. Race start and finish are located in front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Road, Corolla, NC 27927. The event supports local charities.
