The Lighthouse 5k Series on July 22, 2026 is the 16th annual running of this race series at The Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina. The event includes these distances:

Adult entry fee is listed as $45; youth 17 and under are listed at $40. Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup/check-in are available on race morning at the race start line. All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion and chip timing. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female overall, the first place Masters male and female (over 40) and the first place Youth male and female (14 and under). The event is presented by Brindley Beach Vacations.

Course and facilities

The start and finish are in front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Road, Corolla, NC. The course tours the Historic Village of Corolla Light and passes local attractions such as the WhaleHead Club, Corolla Light and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The venue has onsite parking and restrooms. The event is walker and stroller friendly; service dogs are allowed and other pets are not.
