Lighthouse 5k Series in Corolla, North Carolina
Brindley Beach Vacations presents a Christmas in July special within the Lighthouse 5k Series. The event is scheduled for July 15, 2026 at The Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla Park, Corolla, NC, and marks the series' 16th annual running.
The event program includes these distances:
- 5k race
- 1 mile race
- Little Elf 1/4 mile open to ages 10 and under
Walk up registration and pre registered packet pickup are available race morning at the start line. All entries include a t shirt, finisher medallion and chip timing. There is plenty of parking and restrooms onsite. The event is walker and stroller friendly, service dogs are allowed and other pets are not permitted.
The course runs through the Historic Village of Corolla Light and passes landmarks such as the Whalehead Club, Corolla Light resort area and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The start and finish are located in front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall, the first place Masters male and female over 40, and the first place Youth male and female 14 and under.
