Light Up for Leah 5k
Light Up for Leah 5k is the fourth annual community run/walk held in Columbia, SC on September 18, 2026. The event is a 5k run/walk presented by Campfire Kids and organized to remember children who have died after battling pediatric cancer or a blood disorder.
Proceeds benefit CAMP KEMO Programs of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands. The race was created in memory of a child named Leah and is intended to honor her and other children affected by these illnesses. The event focuses on remembrance and support for CAMP KEMO programming.
Race day packet pick up will begin at 5:30 PM at Saluda Shoals. Results will be posted automatically on race day for participants who connect a Twitter account.
