Lifescape 4th of July Classic Run/Walk
The Lifescape 4th of July Classic Run/Walk takes place on July 4, 2026 in downtown Rockford. The event offers multiple distances for participants of various ages and interests.

Registration opens October 12, 2025. Registration deadlines vary by event; several events close May 1, 2026, and one youth category closes July 3, 2026. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after June 5, 2026. Race day registration is not available.
All registered participants receive race items including finisher medals and event T shirts, and a post run pancake breakfast is provided at the Downtown Rockford City Pavilion. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet, 1653 N Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61107, on Thursday, July 2 from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday, July 3 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Prizes are awarded to overall fastest times in the 8K and 2 Mile events and to masters divisions. Cash prizes and Fleet Feet gift cards are listed for top finishers; cash prize awards will be mailed after the event. Student athletes may not accept cash prizes without affecting eligibility.
All proceeds benefit Lifescape programs and services for older adults and adults with disabilities, including Meals on Wheels, Adult Protective Services, an Adult Day Program, Transportation Services, Senior Choice Information and Assistance, Senior Mental Health, Health and Wellness Services, AmeriCorps Seniors, and Comprehensive Care Coordination.
