About the race
The NorthPointe Wellness Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 at NorthPointe Health & Wellness in Roscoe, Illinois. The event includes two distances:
- 5K (3 mile) Run/Walk
- 0.5 mile Tiny Trot
The 5K follows two loops on the NorthPointe campus trails, with views of the winter prairie, a short section through the woods, and several hills. Trails are a mix of crushed gravel and asphalt and are generally stroller and wagon friendly, though some sections may be challenging for wheelchair users. Trail conditions may vary in November, including snow, ice, or mud. The 5K is chip timed. There is one water station on course and one at the start and finish. Volunteers on course will be minimal; participants are responsible for knowing the course and running safely.
The Tiny Trot is a non timed 0.5 mile walk/run designed to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. The route travels west along the campus drive, around NorthPointe Terrace, crosses the intersection onto the trail, winds uphill beside the first waterfall, and finishes beneath the NorthPointe Birth Center porte cochère.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and the registration deadline is November 22, 2026. Fees are $15 for the 5K and $5 for the Tiny Trot. All registration fees are final. Registration is online only; there is no paper or race day registration.
