About the race
The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home hosts the 25th Annual Walk/Run for Families in Crisis on May 15, 2027, at its campus in El Paso, Texas. The event offers running and walking options and raises funds to support the Home’s services and the cost of meals provided to children and families throughout the year.
Available distances include:
- 3.1 miles (5K)
- 1 mile (Family walk/run)
Entry options include individual and team registration. Individual fees listed in the event materials are $30 before May 4, $35 after May 4, and $40 on race day; military and student rates are $25 before May 4, $30 after May 4, and $40 on race day. Team entries require a minimum of 10 members; team pricing and a $5 refund arrangement for early team members are described in the event information. The first 300 registrants receive a 25th Annual event T-shirt.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for teams on May 13 and for individuals on May 14 at the Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home. One team member may pick up materials for the entire team and team shirts will not be separated.
Awards include individual trophies for the top three overall male and female runners, medals for the top three male and female runners in each age group, and a plaque for the largest team entry.
