24th Lee Moor Annual Walk/Run for Families in Crisis
The Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home in El Paso hosts an annual community walk and run on May 16, 2026. The event offers options for individual participants and teams and raises funds to support the children and families served by the Home, including help with meal costs throughout the year.
Event distances and formats:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Family Walk / Run
- 5K Run for military and students
- 1 Mile for military and students
The first 300 registrants receive a short sleeve event T-shirt. Teams must include at least 10 members to qualify for the reduced team entry fee; one team member may pick up shirts and packets for the whole team and team shirts will not be separated. Early packet pick-up is scheduled for teams on Thursday, May 13 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and for individuals on Friday, May 15 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Awards include individual trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers, medals for the top three in each age group, and a plaque for the largest team entry. Age groups range from under 11 up to 75 and over. Entry fees vary by date and by military or student status. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
