Laurie's Love Legacy 5K Run Walk
Laurie’s Love Legacy is an inaugural New Year community event in January that combines a 5K walk and run with a kids dash and family activities. The event aims to raise awareness for Laurie’s Love, an app-based community that connects, empowers, and inspires people navigating cancer.

Ticket options include a basic entry without a T-shirt and a premium entry that includes a T-shirt and swag bag. Prices listed for standard entry types and early bird rates are provided by the organizer. All participants receive a number bib and a participation medal; some ticket types include a T-shirt and additional items. Packet pick-up takes place before race day at Vinoy Park, where participants collect bibs, swag bags, and event shirts when included.
The day is co-hosted by HCA Florida Healthcare and features family-friendly elements such as live music, food trucks, vendor experiences, and bounce house access for children. The race course is described as flat with waterfront and downtown St. Petersburg views, running from Vinoy Park toward Albert Whitted and back. Parking is not provided by organizers but nearby parking is available. Vendors may set up in the Vinoy Park parking lot prior to the event and must be fully set up before the race area is cleared.
