Latinas Leading Tomorrow Reach for the Stars 5K
This is the 5th annual Reach for the Stars 5K organized by Latinas Leading Tomorrow to support programs that address barriers to academic success and personal development for Latina students. The in person event takes place at Bluemont Park, 329 N Manchester Street, Arlington, Virginia. A virtual 5K option is offered as an alternative.
The event format and services include:
- 3.1 Miles in person run and walk at Bluemont Park
- 5K virtual option
Every participant receives a personalized fundraising page. Participants who raise $75 or more will have their race registration fee refunded, excluding processing fees. The organizer has a fundraising goal of $60,000; funds will support cultural responsiveness, mentorship, and related programs for Latina students.
Registration windows and fees are provided for each option. The in person registration fee is $35.00 and the virtual registration fee is $45.00. Packet pickup is available and there is a post race party at the park picnic area. Strollers and walkers are welcome. The event is listed as rain or shine.
