Latinas Leading Tomorrow Reach for the Stars 5K
Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) presents the 5th annual Reach for the Stars 5K Run/Walk on September 13, 2026, at Bluemont Park, 329 N. Manchester Street, Arlington, VA. The event offers both an in-person 3.1-mile run/walk and a virtual 5K option. Registration opens December 8, 2025. In-person registration closes June 15, 2026; virtual registration closes September 12, 2026. Registration fees are $35 for the in-person race and $45 for the virtual race.
Each participant will receive a personalized fundraising page. Participants who raise $75 or more will have their race registration fee refunded, with processing fees excluded. The event has a fundraising goal of $60,000 to support LLT programs that address cultural, language, and socio-economic barriers affecting Latina students.
The event program includes pre-race check-in, warm-up activities, packet pickup, and a post-race party at the Bluemont Park picnic area. The event is planned as rain or shine. Strollers and walkers are welcome. Awards include a $100 Road Runner Sports gift card for first place male and first place female.
