Latinas Leading Tomorrow Reach for the Stars 5K

Latinas Leading Tomorrow presents the 5th annual Reach for the Stars 5K, a community run/walk held on September 13, 2026 at Bluemont Park, 329 N. Manchester Street, Arlington, VA. The event supports the organization’s programs to address cultural, language, and socio-economic barriers affecting Latina students, with an overall fundraising goal of $60,000.

Participants receive a personalized fundraising page. If a participant raises $75 or more, the organizer will refund the race registration fee, processing fees excluded. The event is planned as rain or shine. The organizer notes packet pickup, pre-race check-in and warm-up activities, and a post-race gathering at the park picnic area. Strollers and walkers are welcome.

Registration windows and fees differ by entry option. The in-person 5K registration opens December 8, 2025 and closes June 15, 2026 with a fee of $35. The virtual 5K registration opens December 8, 2025 and closes September 12, 2026 with a fee of $45.
