9-11 Memorial 5k and Half
The 9-11 Memorial 5k & Half is an annual running event held in Washington, DC. Participants follow scenic routes situated in the heart of Georgetown, near the nation's capital. The event offers multiple participation options:

The courses for both the 5k and the Half Marathon utilize the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. While they share the same general trail system, the two distances have different starting and ending points. The Half Marathon begins and ends in Georgetown in the vicinity of the Potomac Boat Club. The 5k event starts and finishes at Fletcher's Boat House.
Walkers are permitted to participate in this event. For those unable to attend in person, virtual registration options are available, which may include a medal or a shirt depending on the selected registration tier.
