Laps of Love
Laps of Love is an athletic event held at the Lakeside Complex within the Buffalo Outer Harbor in New York. The event features multiple participation options centered around the waterfront area at 825 Fuhrmann Boulevard. Participants can choose between different formats:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk/Roll
The 5K Run takes place on a USATF Certified course. For the 1 Mile Walk/Roll, the layout is designed to accommodate walking and rolling participation. An early packet pickup option is provided on the day prior to the event, while race day registration and packet distribution are also conducted at the Lakeside Complex.
The event grounds feature a variety of amenities and food options. On-site vendors include the Blend Truck, providing coffee and smoothies, and the House of Munch Food Truck. Additional refreshments are available through a lemonade stand and a sweet treat stand. Participants over the age of 21 receive tickets for beer or seltzer, and free snacks are provided at the finish line.
Entertainment and atmosphere are supported by a live DJ and a local news representative serving as the event emcee. A merchandise store is available on-site for attendees.
