10th Anniversary - Lakeland Police Foundation Fallen Heroes Memorial 5k
The event is the 10th anniversary edition of an annual Fallen Heroes Memorial 5K held in Lakeland, Florida at 3620 Cleveland Heights Blvd. Net proceeds support the Lakeland Police Foundation and its programs, including education grants, financial assistance for members facing extreme hardships, care for retired police canines, support for the Police Explorer Program, and maintenance of the Fallen Heroes Memorial built to honor seven fallen Lakeland Police officers.

Early packet pickup is available at the Lakeland Police Department on May 14 and May 15, with the pickup area at the Fallen Heroes Memorial near the station entrance. Race morning packet pickup and on site registration are handled at the YMCA. Parking for the event is in grassy areas on the south side of the YMCA and volunteers will assist; participants are asked not to park in the YMCA lot or at the adjacent veterinary clinic.
Shirts and requested sizes are guaranteed for preregistration completed before April 20, 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last and exchanges are limited until after the race. Every participant receives a finisher medal. Placement medals are awarded to the top three finishers in five year age brackets, with additional overall and masters level awards and a special top military and public safety award for the fastest male and female with current or prior service.
