Event Overview
This event takes place on Memorial Day weekend. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a 15K. There are also virtual options for all three distances. The event's purpose is to honor and remember military service members who lost their lives. Active and retired military personnel can register for a complimentary race entry by showing a valid military ID at bib pickup.
Location and Course
The event starts and finishes at Thomas B. Mack Park on Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, Florida. All three distances circle Lake Hollingsworth, with the 10K and 15K requiring multiple laps. The lake's loop is approximately 5K long.
Registration and Logistics
Registration includes several tiers: Preview, Early Bird, Regular, Late, and Race Day, with prices increasing closer to the event date. Participants who register by a specific date are guaranteed swag in their requested size. Packet pickup occurs on race morning, starting one hour before the event begins.
Amenities and Awards
All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Awards are given to the top three men and women in standard five-year age groups for all three distances, as well as to top overall, masters, grand masters, and senior masters finishers. Self-serve water stations are available approximately every 1.5 miles. A minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile is required.

Teams of five or more receive a registration discount. The event has a charity partner, the Florida Giant Dog Rescue. There is a volunteer program that offers incentives.
