Lake Morey Icebreaker
The Lake Morey Icebreaker takes place in Fairlee, Vermont, featuring distances for different age groups and experience levels. The event is centered at the Lake Morey Resort, which serves as the location for registration as well as the start and finish lines. This event is a participant in the Upper Valley Running Series.
The event offers two distinct distances:
- 5-Miler: A 5-mile course that circumnavigates Lake Morey on a rolling, scenic route.
- Kid's Fun Run: A 1-mile flat loop located on a portion of the resort golf course.
The 5-mile race holds a USATF certification (code VT23001JK). Participants have access to post-race food provided at the resort. Technical t-shirts are available for separate purchase as event merchandise. The courses utilize the natural geography around the lake and the managed grounds of the local resort golf course.
