Labelle Turkey Trot 5K Run and 1K Fun Run/Walk
The Labelle Turkey Trot is an annual community event hosted at the Hendry Complex on Forrey Drive in Labelle, Florida. Organized by the LaBelle Rotary Club, the event serves as a fundraiser to support local and international initiatives. Proceeds from the event are directed toward the global fight to eradicate Polio and various local causes, such as providing scholarships to graduates and dictionaries for elementary students.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K (Untimed) Fun Run/Walk
The 5K course is professionally timed and scored by LinMark Sports using the Chronotrack Timing System. Runners, family members, and friends have the option to sign up for text message results sent directly to their mobile devices during race week.
Participants who register early are prioritized for amenities; the first 100 registered individuals receive a shirt. All participants are provided with a race bib and a swag bag. The event is held in conjunction with the organization's existing Turkey Shoot program.
