Caloosa Fest - Alva, Florida
Caloosa Fest takes place on December 6, 2026 at Caloosahatchee Regional Park in Alva, Florida. The event features two trail races held on the park's mountain bike trail system and single-track routes.
Distances:
- 5K Trail Run on green trails, fun scenic loop.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) using extended trail routes.
The 5K course stays on green trails with a mix of grass, hard-packed trail, and mild single track. The Half Marathon uses perimeter trails, open grass sections, winding single track, and technical segments. A main aid station is located at the start/finish and on-course water plus electrolyte tabs are available at miles 3 and 9. Half Marathon runners are required to carry a hydration system (handheld, vest, or bottle).
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each race, and all participants receive a finisher medal. Packet pickup is available the Friday before at Fleet Feet Fort Myers and also on race day at the park. Vendors and demos will be on-site throughout the morning. Parking is inside the mountain bike park on grass, with parking staff directing vehicles. Registration opens on 2025-12-16 and closes on 2026-05-31; published registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $60 for the Half Marathon.
