Caloosa Chase 5K
The LaBelle High School Cross Country Team hosts the Caloosa Chase 5K as an annual community running event. The event is offered both as an in person 5K run/walk and as a virtual 5K, with the LaBelle High School campus listed as the race site at 4050 E Cowboy Way, Labelle, FL 33935.
The entry fee for both the in person and virtual 5K is $35. Packet pickup takes place at Labelle High School on race day; there is no early day packet pickup. The organizer notes a deadline to register in order to guarantee a race shirt.
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers overall and to the top male and female finishers in each age group. Because Dia de Los Muertos falls near the event date, an additional prize is awarded for the best representation of that theme. An awards ceremony and refreshments will follow the race.
The event is presented by the high school cross country program as a way to support the team and its activities. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate attire if dressing in themed costumes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
