The Krewe of Justinian Run For The Beads 5k takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Shreveport, LA. The event includes a ½ mile Fun Run and a 5k run. Logistics and awards
The 5k requires registration; the Fun Run does not and does not include a shirt or beads. Every 5k finisher receives a special bead medal. Race shirts are long sleeve, cuffless, high-tech fabric with a seven-color event logo on the front; shirts are provided if registered by October 17. Packet pick-up is at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, on Friday, December 11 (10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), with additional packet pick-up at the race site on race morning. Entry fees are $25 through December 12 and $30 on race day. Overall first place male and female winners receive $100 each. Specialty prizes are awarded to first male and female in the listed age groups from 10 & under to 70+. Sound, music, and an emcee are planned for the event.
