Kaufman Turkey Trot 2026
The Kaufman Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 at 215 West Mulberry Street, Kaufman, TX. The event features community running and fundraising activity that supports The Center, a local nonprofit serving individuals and families in Kaufman County. The event is held rain or shine.
Event distances include:
- 5K timed run/walk
- 1-mile fun run for all ages
The program includes music, photo opportunities, vendors, and prizes for top finishers and best-dressed participants. A pet costume contest is part of the festivities. Costumes are encouraged and awards are given for selected categories.
Registration options include a limited VIP package that provides lounge access for the registrant plus up to two guests, refreshments, a power station, VIP restrooms, and front row parking for one vehicle. A sleep-in registration option is available for those who wish to support the event without attending; sleep-in registrants receive race merchandise shipped to their address.
Packet pick up is available on race day and is also offered the day before in front of Latham's Bakery on the Kaufman Square; organizers recommend picking up early.
