The Fountain 5K Run & Walk
This is the 16th annual community event, taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Terrell, Texas. It features a 3.2-mile scenic route through a historic neighborhood. The event is designed to benefit the Volunteer Services Council of Terrell State Hospital, which has supported hospital patients since 1952.
Participants can choose from three events:
- 5K Run & Walk
- 5K Run & Walk Student
- 5K Run & Walk Kids - Age 8 & Under
Registration before April 8 guarantees a t-shirt. The race day schedule includes a 1K Kids Fun Run at 8:00 AM, warm-up at 8:45 AM, and the main 5K start at 9:00 AM. The course closes at 10:30 AM. Awards will be presented for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in several age groups.
