The Fountain 5K Run & Walk, Terrell TX
The Fountain 5K Run & Walk is the 16th annual community 5K held in Terrell, Texas, at 1314 W. Moore Ave. The course is a 3.2 mile scenic neighborhood route that passes historic homes built at the turn of the century. The event takes place rain or shine.
Proceeds benefit the Volunteer Services Council of Terrell State Hospital. The council obtains goods, services, and monetary donations and provides personal attention for patients beyond the hospital’s standard care. Continued support helps the council maintain these activities.
Race day elements include registration and packet pickup, a 1K Kids Fun Run, a warm up, the 5K Run and Walk, and award presentations after the last finisher. Awards include 1st overall male and female and top three in each age group; a timing tag is required for award eligibility.
Event clothing information: runners registered by the end of April 8 are guaranteed a t shirt in their ordered size because t shirt orders are placed April 9.
