Forney Education Foundation Antlers and Tutus Grinch Run
The Forney Education Foundation presents the 8th annual Antlers and Tutus Grinch Run at Opportunity Central on Innovation Boulevard in Forney, Texas. The event offers a timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run, plus a sleep in option that still receives a T-shirt. Registrants receive a race shirt and breakfast with Santa and the Grinch served after the event. An onsite photographer will be available for pictures with Santa; participants are encouraged to wear antlers and tutus. Teams are welcome.
The 5K is a timed race with medals awarded to male and female finishers in first, second, and third places across age groups: overall male and female, 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. After-run activities at Opportunity Central include the Holly Jolly Market hosted by Forney Legacy Project.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event, Friday, December 11, at The OC in Forney. Park on the west side; the pickup location is by RoyalT and Pine & Ivy. Packet pickup includes the race shirt, bib, course map, and event details. T shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrants who register by November 24; remaining shirts are distributed first come, first served.
