The park offers a pavilion, playground, pickleball courts, grassy areas, and shade.
Distances and formats
- 4 Hour Blitz event option
- 8 Hour Blitz event option
- 12 Hour Blitz event option
Backyard format means runners complete the same 4.167 mile loop once every hour. Runners must complete a loop within the hour to receive credit and may not start the next loop early. The Blitz variation records each loop time and ranks runners first by loops completed and then by cumulative time on those loops.
Amenities include live timing with individual lap and cumulative times, a well stocked finish area with snacks and Tailwind electrolyte drink, Great Harvest Bread at the end of the 4 hour event, and pizza at the conclusion of the 8 hour and 12 hour events. All runners who complete at least one loop receive a finisher medal; runners who complete 12 loops receive a leather patch beanie marking the 50 mile accomplishment.
The 4 hour, 8 hour, and 12 hour fields are capped to limit trail congestion. Tents and spectator setup are allowed but stakes are prohibited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
