Bear Canyon Trail Run
Formerly known as the Corner Canyon Ultra Trail Runs, this event continues as a cancer charity and fundraising event. All proceeds from the race are donated each year to support an individual or family in need.
The event offers three distances: the 20MI Bear Canyon Challenge, the 11MI Bear Canyon Classic, and a 5K.
The course is a scenic and challenging loop on low-traffic single-track trails. It includes steep technical climbs and descents. The route begins on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and connects to Trail of the Eagle, featuring a climb of 4,100 feet over 5 miles. Runners then traverse the Bear Canyon trail before descending via the Cherry Canyon Logging Trail, which drops 4,100 feet over 4 miles. Participants running the 20-mile distance complete a second loop, totaling approximately 8,000 feet of climbing. The event takes place in Sandy, Utah.
